ORDINANCE NO. 1649
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18 OF
"TH� CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA".
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CI7'Y' COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FL4RIDA:
SECTION l. That Section 18-49.1 of "T�e Code of the City of
Miarni Beach, Florida" reading as follows:
"Sec. 18-49.1 Restrictions on sales in 'H-1' district.
In any 'H-�.' district, the sale of liquor is
prohibited except from service bars in bona fide
restaurants and in hotels having one hundred or
more sleeping rooms; provided, however, that each of
such hotel sleeping rooms shall meet the require-
ments af section 1305.2 of the South Florida Building
Code; provided, further, that the exterior of the
hotel in which the business is carried on shall not
contain a store front in connection with the business
and the business so licensed shall only be enterec�
from within the building; and further provided that no
cabaret, extra-hour cabaret or limited cabaret bar
shall be licensed in such 'H-1' districto"
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:

SECTION 2. That all ordinances, or parts of ordinances,
in conflic�t herewith, be and the same �re
hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall go into effect
immediately upon its passage and posting as
required by law.
