AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 20 OF
"THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY ��UNCIL OF THE CI7'Y' OF MIAl►iI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
; SECTI4N 1. That Section 20.4 of Chapter 2� of "The Code
af the City of Miami Beacn, Florida" be and the
same is hereby amended by adding thereto, immediately at
the end thereof, a new�section to be numbered and to read
as follows: � - �
"Sec. 20.4.1 Whenever any license fee to be paid
shall remain unpair� after its due date
for a period of nine�y (90) da��s, there shall be added
to and become a part of the license fee, a penalty of
ten percent (14�b) �of the original amount o� such license
fee. The penalty shalZ be i� ac�dition to any and all
other penalties pre�cri�ecr in this Chapter, and shall
be enforced and collected in the same manner,and as a
part of, the license feea"
SECTION 2. That all ordinance�, or parts of ordinances,
� in conflict herewith, be and the same are
hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That �his ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by
law.

having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous
places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door
of the City Hall in said City on the 7th day of September, 1967
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.
