AN ORDINANCE AMEI�TDIN� �RDINI�NCE NO. 289,
COMA+iONLY KNUWN AS THE "ZONINC ORDINANCE
OF THE CI�'Y OF MIAMI BEACH r FLORIDA" ,
BE IT ORUAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 4F MIA�MI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION l. That Section 9 of Ordinance No. 289, cornmonly known
as the "�oning 4rdinance of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida", be and the same is hereby ar�ended, by adding tk�ereto,
immediately at the end thereof, a new paragraph , to be
numbered and to read as fallows:
"2�. Pet Shops, provided, however, that businesses for
the sale of living trapi�al and similar aquarium
fish, aquatic life such as snails and small turtles,
plants, aquaria, aquarium supglies, pet supplies and
accessaries, shall not be deemed to be pet shops
within the meaning of this ordinance."
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by law.

MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA'"
having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous
places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door
of the City Hall in said City on the 19th day of October, 1967
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and
