ORDINANCE N4. 1671
AN 4RDINANCE AMENDING SE�TION 42-32(a)
OF "THE CODE OF THE CITY' OF N�IAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA".
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CC3UNCIL O�' THE CITX OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 42�32(a) of "The Code of the Ci�y of
Miami Beach, Florida" reading as follo�vs�
"(a) Forty cents for the first one-third
of one mile or any part thereof, and ten
cents for each additional one-quarter of
one mile or any part thereof,"
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"(a) Fifty cents for the first one-
�" third of one mile, and ten cents fo�
each additional one-quarter of one mile
or an� part thereof; provided however,
that for the period of time commen�ing
ten weeks prior and two weeks subsec,�uent
to the holding of any National Political
Convention scheduled ta be held in the
City of Niiami Beach, the rate shall be
forty cents for the first one- third �
one mi.le or any part thereof, and ten
cents for each additional one-quarter of
one mile or any part thereof."
SECTION 2:
SECTION 3:
That al1 ordinances or parts of ordinances in con--
flict.herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
That this ordinance shall go into eff�ct immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by 1aw.

places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door �

thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.
