BE iT ORD�tNED BY THE CITY CQUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIA.MI 6EP,CH,
FLORIDP:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 4 of "The Code of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida" be and the same is hereby
amended by adding therefio a new section, to follow irrnnediately
after Section �+-8, and to read and to be numbered as follows:
"Section 4-8.1 It shall be unlawful for any person
to keep, stable, harbor or maintain any horse,
poultry, livestock and/or farm animals in any Use
District zoned residential under Ordinance No, 289,
commonly known as the "Zoning Ordinance of City of
Miami Beach, Florida" provided, however, that
nothing herein �ontained shall be construed so as
to prohi'bit the keeping, stabl ing, harboring or
maintaining of any horse, pouitry, livestock and/or
farm animals'in such residentiaj Use Distri�ts for
public evenfis such as circuses, shows and similar
events, or in any speciai cases, for temporary periods
of t i me, as approved. by •the C i ty Counc i 1."
SECTION 2. That all ordinances, or parts of ordinances,
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby
repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall go into effect
immediately upon its passage and posting as
required by law.

places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door

thirty days in accordance with the requiacements of the City Charter
