BE IT QRDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA: �
SECTION 1: That that portion of Section 2.6 of "The Code of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida" reading as follows;
"E. PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT
l. Police chief--police department director
{a) Parking System division supervisor
2. Fire chief--fire department director"
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"E. PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT
1. Police chief--police department director
2. Fire chief--fire department director"
SECTION 2: That Paragraph C of Section 2.6 of "The code of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida", be and the same is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"C. CITX CLERK AND FINANCE DEPARTMENT
1. City clerk and finance director
2. Purchasing agent (division supervisor)
3. Accounting division supervisor
4. Parking system division supervisor"
SECTION 3: That Paragraph G of Section 2.6 of "The code of the
City of P�tiami Beach, Florida", be and the same is
hereby amended to read as follows:

SECTION 4: That Paragraph H. of Section 2.6 of "T'he Code of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida" be and the same is
hereby amended to read as follows:

SECTION Sa That that portion of Section 2-8 of "The Code of the
City of Niami Beach, Florida" reading as follows:
"�c) The city attorney shall be the appointing
authority for all personnel in the legal

SECTION 6: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby
repealed.
SECTION 7: The health and we lfaxe of the City being in peri 1,
the three readings of this ordinance shall be had
in one session and the City Council f inding that this ordinance
is necessary for the immediate protection of its citizens, it
shall therefore go into effect immec�iately upon its passage.

of the said City of Miami Beach.
