for injury to any one person, one t�u�dred thousand doliar� for in,�ury
to mo re tfian one person i n the sar�e acc i dent , and f i ve thous and do 11 ars
property damage in any one accident, written by a reliabie and resNon-
sible insurance company, which company �nd poiicy of i�suran�e shall have
been app roved by the c i ty manage r and Urh i ch sha i 1 i nu re ;
(a) To the benefit of any passenge r in such motor vehicie for hire who
may rece i ve bod i 1 y i � j ur i es , and to the he i rs or l ega 1 represen tat i ves
of any passe��e r tiiho may suf fe r death by reason of the neg 1 i gence or
mi sconduct on ti�e part of the perm+ ttee or dri ver of such motor veh i cle

Ordinance No. 1720 entitled:
"AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 42 OF 'THE CODE OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,' FIXING THE AMOUNT OF
INSURANCE FOR TAXICABS"
having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous
places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door
of the City Hall in said City on the 17th day of October, 1968
and that said Qrdinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.
