SECTI�N 6 That Section 4 of Ordinance No. ?B9 be and the same is hereby amencied to read as follows : "ta) v�hen an employee shall have completed �en years' employrtent he shall, if tbe base pay he is reeeiving is ane of the rates listed in Table A of this ordinance, be advaneed to one step above his base rate. W'hen an entployee shall have completed ten years' employment, he shall, if the base pay he is receiving is not one of the rates listed in Table A hereof, be paid a sum equal to five per cent (596) of his base pay in addition to the amount he is paid under Section 1 or Section l�l hereof. "(b) When an employee shall have ccxrpleted fifteen years' ernploytnent, he shall, if the base pay he is receiving is one of the rates listed in Table A of this ord inance, be advanced to one and one-hal f steps above his base rate .'v�lhen an employee shall have completed fifteen years employment, he shall, if the base pay he is receiving is not one of the rates listed in Tab1e A hereof, be paid a sum equal to seven and one-half percent (7 1/2/) of his base pay in addition to the arnount he is paid under Section 1 or Se�tion 1.1 hereof. "(c� �i�hen an ernployee shall have completed twenty years ernployment, he shall, if the base pay he is receiving is one of the =ates listed in Table A of this ordinance, be advan�ed to two steps above his base rate. ti��lhhen an employee shall have completed twenty years employnnent, he shall, if the base pa� he is receiving is not one of the rates listed in Table A hereof� be paid a sum equal to ten percent (109�) of his base pay in addition to the amount he is paid under Section 1 or Section 1.1 hereof .
