ORDINANCE NO. � 76�
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHP,PTER 10 OF
"THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA".
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA :
SECTION 1 That that portion of Section 10.5 of "The Code of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida", reading as follows:
"...The city council shall further authorize
and direct the city clerk to give notice of
the adoption of such resolution and of the
provisions thereof hereinbefore prescribed, by
and through the publication of an appropriate
advertisement in a daily newspaper of general
circulation in the city once a week for four
consecutive weeks next preceding the day upon
which such municipal election is to be held...."
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
� "...The city council shall further authorize
and direct the city clerk to give notice of
the adoption of such resolution and of the
provisions thereof hereinbefore prescribed, by
and through the pub lication of an appropriate
advertisement in a newspaper meeting the
requirements set forth in Section 50.031,
Florida Statutes, once a week for four consecutive
weeks next preceding the day upon which such
municipal election is to be held..."
SECTION 2 That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3 That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by law.
