BE !T 4RDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMt BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION ]: That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 289, be and the same is hereby
amended by adding a new item thereto to read as foltows:
"Boarding or Lodging House. A building other than an apartment-
hotel, a hotel, motel or motor lodge where, for compensation and
by pre-arrangement for definite periods, lodging, meals, or lodging
and meals are provided for 3 or more persons but not exceeding 20
persons,"
SECTION 2: That Sectian 5, "RE MULTIPLE-FAMILY DISTRICT," of Ordinance
No. 28g, be and the same is hereby amended by adding the following
item immediately foilowing item 13, to be numbered and to read as follows:
"14. BQarding House, Lodging House"
SECTlON 3: Ali ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and
the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: This ordinance shall go into effect immediately upon its passage
and posting as required by law.

thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.
