AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 42 OF "THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA".
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: �hat Chapter 42 of "The Code of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida" be and the same is hereby amended
by adding a new section thereto to be numbered Section 42-a4.1,
to follow immediately after Section 42-���, and to read as
follows :
"Sec . 42-2r'4.1 It shall be unlawful for
any person to operate or cause or allow to be
operated in the City of Miami Beach any taxicab
unless the interior thereof, including the floor,
upholstery and seats are in clean condition, and
in good state of repair, and the exterior thereof,
including the body, fenders, doors, b.umpers and
other parts and equipment are maintained in good
condition and repair, and are free from jagged,
torn, exposed edges or unsightly damage thereto
caused by collision or by any other cause what-
soever."

Attest:
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
This ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by law.
