AN ORDINANCE AMEND ING ORD INANCE NO . 2 8 9,
COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE "ZONING ORDINANCE
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA."
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA :
SECTION l: That Ordinance No. 289 of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, and the maps attached thereto and made
a part thereof, be and the same are hereby amended by excluding
from the "RD" Single-Family Use D istrict and to include in the
"RE" Multiple-Family Use District and in Area District MF-6
as said districts are set forth and def ined in said ordinance,
that certain parcel of land situate, lying and being in the
City of Miami Beach, County of Dade, and State of Florida,
as follows :
"A parcel of sovereignty land in Indian Creek
Section 11, Township 53 South, Range 42 East,
abutting Lots 2 through 7 and the South three-
quarters (S 3/4 ) of Lot 8, B lock 3, Amended Plat
of SECOND OCEANFRONT SUBDIVISION, according to
the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 28, Page
28 of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida,
said parcel being more particularly described as
follows :
Commence at the Southeast Corner of said Lot 2;
thence North 89° 14' 30" West 148.37 feet
along the South line of said Lot 2 to the mean
high water line and the point of beginning
thence continue North 89° 14' 30" West 30.85
feet to the established bulkhead line; thence
North 3° 13' 25" East 506.77 feet along said
bulkhead line; thence South 89° 14' 30" East
40.50 feet to the mean high water line; thence
Southerly along said mean high water line and
the westerly line of said Lots 2 through 7 and
S3/4 of Lot 8 to the point of beginning.
Containing o/57 acre, more or less."
SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby
repealed.
SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by law.

having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach, Floricla, has been posted by me in three conspicuous
places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door
of the City Hall in said City on the 5th day of October, 1 g6g,
and that said prdinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.
