Ordinance 1795.• •• . , ' �Y F , ORDINANCE NO. 1795 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1417 OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA : SECTION l: That Ordinance Number 1417 of the City of Miami Beach, adopting the South Florida Building Code as the Building Code of the City of Miami Beach be, and the same is hereby amended by adding a new provision thereto � reading as follows: r G "That notwithstanding any provision in the South Florida Building Code to the contrary, no partial or temporary certificate of occupancy shall be issued by the City of Miami Beach for any building under construction in the City, provided, however, that nothing herein contained shall be deemed to prohibit the use of any building under construction solely by workmen or employees engaged in the con- struction or the completion of construction of such building. " SECTION 2: All ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 3: The City Council finding that the health and welfare of the City is in peril, this ordinance is passed as an emergency ordinance and all three (3) readings shall be had at one meeting and shall go into effect immediately upon its passage.
