AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18 OF THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Section 18.41 of the Code of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, be and the same
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 18-41. Enumeration of districts; adoption of map.
The city is hereby divided into the following
districts: Districts "A", "B", "C", "D", "E",
"F" "G" "H", "H-1", "I" and "J". The boundaries
of such districts are shown on the map which is
on file in the office of the city clerk. Such
map, together with the legends, words, figures,
symbols and other explanatory matter thereon, is
hereby made as much a part of this Code as if all
of the matters and information set forth thereon
were fully set forth in this section."
SECTION 2. That the map on file in the office of the City
Clerk, referred to in Section 18.41 of the
Code of the City of Miami Beach, be and the same is hereby
amended so as to show the buildings and improvement
constituting the City of Miami Beach Auditorium and Convention
Hall to be located in the "J" District.
SECTION 3. That Chapter 18 of the Code of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, be and the same is
hereby amended by adding a new section to follow immediately
after Section 18.50, and to -be numbered and to read as follows:
SECTION 4.
repealed.
SECTION 5.
ATTEST:
"Sec. 18.50.1
In any "J" District, the sale of liquor, wine
or beer is prohibited except within the confines
of the City of Miami Beach Auditorium and
Convention Hall, and provided that the sale of
liquor shall be for consumption on the premises
only."
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby
This ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by law.

Ordinance No. 1802 entitled:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18, OF THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA
having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous
places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door
of the City Hall in said City on the 30th day of January, 1970,
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.
