A.N ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF 2TIfi; CI -2Y OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
CREATING THE OFFICE OF POLICE SER-
GEANT.
BE 12 ORDAI= BY TEE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SEC2I0IT 1.
That the office of police sergeant to be filled by
some police officer of the City of Jiami Beach, 21orida, whose
duties shall be perscribed by the Chief of Police .of said City
and who shall be subordinate to said. Chief of Police, be and
the same is nereby created.
'EcTIor 2.
An officer to fill such ordinance shall be appointed

I, C. W. IOMLINSON, City Clerk in and
for the City of Miami Beach, Florida, do hereby certify
that Ordinance No. 217 entitled "An Ordinance of the City
Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, creating the
office of Police Sergeant", having been duly passed and
adopted by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
has teen posted by me in three conspicuous places in the
City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door of the
City Hall in said City on the 1st day of May, 1925, and
the said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at
least thirty days in accordance with the requirements of
the City Charter of the said City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set
my hand and affixed the official seal of the City of Miami
Beach on this the 3rd day of June, A. D., 1925.
