AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 31 OF
"THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1.
That that portion of Section 31.3 of "The Code
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida" reading
as follows:
"A commission is hereby created, to be known
as the Boxing Commission of the City, whose duty
it shall be to administer and provide for the
enforcement of all provisions of this article.
The Commission shall consist of five members, to
be appointed by the City Council, any three of
whom shall constitute a quorum."
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"A commission is hereby created, to be known

whom shall constLtute a quorum. The Auditorium
and Convention Hall Director and Manager shall be
a member of said commission, but shall not be
entitled to vote, nor shall his presence be counted
for the purpose of a quorum."
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby
repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall go into effect
immediately upon its passage and posting as
required by law.

Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous
places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door
of the City Hall in said City on the 19th day of February, 1970,
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.
