Ordinance 1818♦ 1 ORDINANCE NO. 1818 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25 OF"THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA." BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That "The Code of the City of Miami Beach, Florida," be and the same is hereby amended by adding new sections thereto immediately following Section 25.67, to be numbered and to read as follows: SECTION 2. SECTION 3. Attest: Ag ity Clerk -Finance Director "Section 25.67.1 From and after the 1st . day of July, 1970, the sale, keeping, storage, or the offering for sale of any food from open air stands in the City shall be and the same is hereby prohibited. From and after said date, such sale, keeping, storage, or the offering for sale of any food from open air stands in the City shall be made only within the confines of an enclosed building." "Section 25.67.2 No food shall be exhibited, stored, or kept on the outside of any store, in any doorway, yard, sidewalk, area way or public thoroughfare. "Section 25.67.3 That for the purpose of Sections 25.67.1 and 25.67.2, the word "food" is hereby defined to mean all articles used for human consumption as food, drink, confectionery or condiment." All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. This ordinance shall go into effect immediately upon its passage and posting as required by law.
