Ordinance 1844ORDINANCE NO. 1844 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 289, COMMONLY KNOWN AS "THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA." BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That Section 18 of Ordinance No. 289, commonly known as "The Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami Beach, Florida," reading as follows: "Section 18 It shall be the duty of the Building Inspector to enforce this ordinance" be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: SECTION 2. repealed. SECTION 3. Attest: "Section 18 It shall be the duty of the Director of the Planning and Zoning Department to enforce this ordinance. Where uses of land or buildings are authorized by the provisions of this ordinance, but the same are not specifically set forth, enumerated or defined therein, the Director of the Planning and Zoning Department shall not issue any permit for, or approve or authorize the same without the prior con- current approval of the City Attorney and the Director of Public Works."
