AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25 OF THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA
DECLARING PARKING OF BOATS AND/OR BOAT
TRAILERS ON THE PUBLIC STREETS OF THE
CITY TO BE A PUBLIC NUISANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Chapter 25 of the Code of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby amended
by adding a new section thereto, to be numbered and to read
as follows:
"Section 25.61.1 That parking, placing or storage
of any boat and/or boat trailer
upon any street or public way in the City for a
period of more than two hours, shall be deemed a
nuisance detrimental to the convenience, comfort
and safety of the citizens of the City, and the
creation of such a nuisance is hereby declared to
be unlawful."
SECTION 2: That all ordinances in conflict herewith be
and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by law.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 21st day of October, 1970.

having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous
places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door
of the City Hall in said City on the 30th day of
October, 1970,
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.
