Ordinance 434r • ORDINANCE NO. 434 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 289, BEING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF SAID CITY SO AS TO CHANGE THE USE DISTRICT CLASSI- FICATION OF TELEPHONE EXCHANGES FROM ITS PRESENT "BAAA" BUSINESS CLASSIFI- CATION, TO WHAT IS KNOWN AS "RE" MULTIPLE FAMILY CLASSIFICATION. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That Section 5«A of Ordinance No. 289, be and the same is hereby amended by eliminating therefrom the following item: "(10) Telephone exchanges." SECTION 2: That Section 5 of Ordinance No. 289, as amended, be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto after Item (JO) , the following item: "(11) Telephone exchanges, only upon approval and permit by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach." SECTION 3: All ordinances and parte of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 4: This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage, approval and posting in accord- ance with law. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of August A. D., 1936. D., 1936, and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter of the said City af Miami Beach.
