Ordinance 451ORDINANCE NO. 451 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, REGULATING THE HANDLING, KEEPING- AND SAL OF FISH WITHIN SAID CITY, AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: Fish is hereby define. to be every part of any animal that lives in the water, the flesh of which is not meat. SECTION 2: No fish shall be sold under a f<.lse name. SECTION 3: No unwholesome fish shall be offered for sale, sold or riven away. The Health Inspector of said City shall be the sole judge as to whether or not any fish is or are unwholesome and unfit for human consumption and shall have the power to condemn and destroy same. SECTION Ll: Every person handling fish must comply with such health regulations as may be required by the Health Inspector of said City and shnl1 have healthcard and blood test at least every six months. SECTION 5: All stores or other places for keepin€f, handling or sale of fish shall provide proper floor drains. Cleaning tables must be all metal, and must be equipped with hot running water. Said store or place must be entirely screened and each store or place must nave lavatory and toilet and be equipped with individual towels and soap. All refuse must be disposed of daily and must, until disposed of, bo kept inside of store on ice and must not under any circumstances be buried. No boiling or cooking of any fish shall be permitted on the outside of any building. SECTION 6: No license or permit shall be granted for any fish market except upon the approval and permit of the City Council of the City of Miami Beach. SECTION 7: Any person, firm or corporation violating any pro- vision of this Ordinance shall be fined not less than Five ( $5.00) Dollars and not more than One Hundred Dollars. 100.(0) SECTION 8: Each dayts violation lf any part of this Ordinance shall constitute a separate offense.
