AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 289, BEING THE ZONING ORDI..
NANCE OF SAID CITY, SO AS TO CHANGE THE USE
AND AREA REGULATIONS OF THE FOLLOWING DE-
SCRIBED PROPERTY: «THE STRIP OF LAND ONE
HUNDRED FEET IN WIDTH, LYING NORTHERLY OF
AND IMMEDIATELY ADJACENT TO FORTY -.FIRST
STREET AND EXTENDING FROM ALTON ROAD TO
MERIDIAN AVENUE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 289 of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, be and the same is hereby amended as follows:
That the Use and Area Regulations on the following
described property, to -wit:
"The strip of land one hundred feet (100 9 j in
width,lying northerly of and immediately ad-
.laoento Forty-first Street and extending
from Alton Road to Meridian Avenue, in the City
of Miami Beach, Florida,"
be and the same is hereby amended so as to change the above de-
scribed land from its present Use Regulation District "RD" Single
Family District classification, to what is known as the "BA" Busi-
ness District classification, and also
so as to change the above described land from its present Area
Regulation District No. 13, to what is known as Area Regulation
District No, 19.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately after
its passage, approval and posting.

the City of Miami Beach, Florida, do hereby certify that Ord-
inance No. 453 entitled "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAZ BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 289
REING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF SAID CITY, SO AS TO CHANGE THE
USE AND AREA REGULATIONS OF THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PRO-
PERTY: THE STRIP OF LAND ONE HUNDRED FEET IN WIDTH, LYING NORTH-
ERLY OF AND IMMEDIATELY ADJACENT TO FORTY-FIRST STREET AND
EXTENDING FROM ALTON ROAD TO MERIDIAN AVENUE.", having been
duly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous
places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door
of the City Hall in said City on the 22nd day of October,
A. D., 1936, and that said Ordinance remained posted for a
period of at least thirty days in accordance with the re-
ouirements of the City Charter of the said City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my
hand and affixed the official seal of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, on this the 22nd day of November, A. D., 1936.
