ORDINANCE NO. 461
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING SECTION 5 OF ORDINANCE NO.
3911, BEING THE OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE
ORDINANCE OF SAID CITY, SO AS TO CHANGE
THE LICENSE FEE OF BURLESQUES OR OTHER
SIMILAR PERFORMANCES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 5 of Ordinance No. 394, as amended, be
and the same is hereby amended by eliminating under
the title "AMUSEMENT AND RECREATION", the following:
" Burlesques or other similar performances, sub-
ject to approval by the City Council, per
week $ 200.00"
and substituting in lieu thereof, the following:
" Burlesques or other - similar performances,
subject to approval by the City Council $1200.00"
SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of November, A. D., 1936.

City of Miami Beach, Florida, do hereby certify that Ordinance
No. 461 entitled "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA; AMENDING SECTION 5 OF ORDINANCE NO.
394, BEING THE OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE ORDINANCE OF SAID CITY, SO
AS TO CHANGE THE LICENSE FEE OF BURLESQUES OR OTHER SIMILAR
PERFORMANCES," having been duly passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted
by me in three conspicuous places in the City of Miami Beach,
one of which was at the door of the City Hall in said City on
the 19th day of November, A. D., 1936, and that said Ordinance
remained posted for a period of at least thirty days in
accordance with the rquirements of the City Charter of the
said City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand
and affixed the official seal of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
on this the 21st day of December, A. D., 1936.
