AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION FIVE (5)
"LICENSE ORDINANCE" OF ORDINANCE NO.242.
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That, that part of Section Five (5) of Ordinance No.
SECTION 1. 242 of said City entitled " Ordinance of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, imposing licenses and other
taxes on privileges, businesses, occupations and professions,
carried on and engaged in within said City" and prescribing penal-
ties for the exercising of such privileges or carrying on of such
businesses, occupations or professions without a license, or other
failure to comply with the provi::ions thereof, reading as follows:
" Peddlers or dealers, without established places
of business in the City of Miami Beach, in dry
goods, notions, jewelry, clothing, groceries or
other merchandise, other than milk or water in
bottles, on foot or from wagons or other vehicles,
selling at retail or by sample, per individual
or vehicle 4 600.00
Peddlers or dealers who maintain an established
place of business in this city, in dry goods,
notions, jewelry, clothing, groceries or other
merchandise, other than milk or water in bottles,
on foot or from wagons or other vehicles, selling
at retail or by sample, per individual or vehicle
25.00"
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
" Peddlers or dealers in dry goods, notions,
jewelry, clothing, groceries, fruits, vegetables,
produce of all kinds, or other merchandise, (other
than milk or water in bottles, or ice) on foot
or from wagons, trucks or other vehicles, selling
at retail or by sample, per individual 4 600.00
Dealers in dry goods, notions, jewelry,
clothing, groceries, fruits, vegetables,
produce of all kinds, or other merchan-
dise, (other than milk or water in bottles,
or ice) on foot or from wagons, trucks or
other vehicles, selling or delivering at
wholesale, 05.00"
That this ordinance be effective from and after
SECTION 2. approval and posting as required by law.

THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION FIVE
(5) "LICENSE ORDINANCE" OF ORDINANCE NO. 242. OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA", hpvin been duly pasFed
and adopted by the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspi-
cuous places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which
was at the door of the City Hall in said. City on the
8th day of November, A. D., 1528, and that said ordi-
nance remained posted for a period of at least thir-
ty days in accordance with the requirements of the City
Charter of the said City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto
set my hand and affixed the official seal of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, on this the 12th day of
