RESOLUTION NO. 12997
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, is considering amending Ordinance No. 289,
commonly known as "The Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, " by excluding from the "RE" Use District
and including in the "RH" Hospital District, and in an
appropriate area district as may be determined by the City
Council, all that portion of the property commonly known as
"The Mount Sinai Hospital Property, " now presently in the
"RE" Use District and bounded generally on the north by North
Bay Road and south lot line of Lot 40, Block 1, NAUTILUS
SUBDIVISION; on the west by Biscayne Bay; on the south by the
Julia Tuttle Causeway or Interstate I-195; and on the east by
Interstate I-195 and Alton Road; all being in accordance with
a specific Metes and Bounds Description on file in the office
of the City Clerk.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a public hearing
be and the same is hereby called to be held on the 6th
day of May , 1970, at 5: 15 P.M• , in the Council Chambers,
City Hall, Miami Beach, Florida, for the purpose of considering
said proposed amendment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Clerk and
Finance Director be and she is hereby directed to give
fifteen (15) days notice of the time, place and object of
said hearing by public notice thereof, published in the
Miami Beach Sun a newspaper of general circulation in
said City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 15th day of April , 1970.
