Ordinance 268ORDINANCE NO. 268 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION FIVE (5) "LICENSE ORDINANCE NO. 2I-2 OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: amori_i: That that part of Section Five (5) of Ordi- nance No. 242 of said City entitled, "Ordi- nance of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, imposing licenses and other taxes on privileges, businesses, occupations and professions, carried on and engaged in within said City" and prescribing penalties for the exercising of such privileges or carrying on of such businesses, occupations or professions without a license, or other failure to comply with the provi- sions thereof, reading as follows: "Contractors, persons or firms, defined as persons or firms, taking contracts to perform work by the job, where party or firm does the work with assist- ants, shall be as follows:" be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "Contractors, persons or firms, defined as persons or firms, taking contracts to perform work by the job, except electrical contractors, where party or firm does the work with assistants, shall be as follows:" and at the end of Section "C" thereof by inserting the words "Electrical contractors, $ 75.00" SECTION 2: That this ordinance be effective from and after approval and posting as required by PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of November, A.
