A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING RETENTION
OF MR. JOHN BEYER AS A CONSULTANT AND GENERAL
LIAISON IN CONNECTION WITH RETENTION OF AN
ARCHITECT FOR AND THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE
CONVENTION CENTER WRAPAROUND AND THE THEATRE
OF THE PERFORMING ARTS.
WHEREAS, the hiring of an architectural consultant would
give the City expertise to guide and advise throughout the design
and construction of the Convention Center wraparound and the
Theatre of the Peforming Arts; and
WHEREAS, Mr . John Beyer has been involved in previous
site development at the Convention Center ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH:
That Mr . John Beyer be retained as a consultant and
general liaison in connection with retention of an architect for
and the construction of the Convention Center wraparound and the
Theatre of the Performing Arts at a fee not to exceed five
thousand dollars.
