13038 RESOLUTION NO. 13038
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, is considering amending Ordinance No. 289,
commonly known as "The Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, " so as to delete therefrom all
references to apartment hotels in the "REA" and all less
restrictive use districts ; to eliminate therefrom any
distinction between apartments, apartment houses and apartment
hotels, and that all such multiple residences shall be
denominated as apartments or apartment houses; and to permit,
as accessory uses, in all such apartments or apartment houses,
the business uses permitted in the "BA" or "BB" business
district provided, however, that such accessory uses shall
be permitted in such apartments or apartment houses having
one hundred (100) or more living units therein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a public
hearing be and the same is hereby called, beginning at the
hour of 3 o ' clock P.M. on the 5th day of August.. 1970, in
the Cypress Room, Convention Hall South, 1700 Washington Avenue,
Miami Beach, Florida.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Clerk and
Finance Director be and she is hereby directed to give
fifteen (15) days notice of the time, place and object of
said hearing by public notice thereof, published in the
Miami Beach Daily Sun, a newspaper of general circulation
in said City.
