RESOLUTION NO. 13039
WHEREAS, on April 27, 1970, after due notice,
bids were opened for the furnishing of security service
for the Convention Hall Complex, or any other Department
where watchmen may be required; and
WHEREAS, on the 24th day of June, 1970, the
City Council of the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH determined that
GRAY SECURITY SERVICE was the successful bidder for the
Security Service contract; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared an
Agreement between the CITY and the said GRAY SECURITY
SERVICE, which contains the terms of the Specifications
which were the basis for the said bids, the City Council
being familiar with the terms of said Agreement; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest
of the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH to execute the said Agreement for
a period of one (1) year commencing on August 1, 1970 and
ending July 31, 1971;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor
and the City Clerk and Finance Director be and they are
hereby authorized and directed to execute the said Agreement
in the name of, and on behalf of said City.
