suBJECT: Pet Adoption Event with Mi i-Dade Animal Services
This Letter to the City Commission is to provide information about a Pet Adoption event being held in honor of National
Take Your Dog to Work Day on Friday, June 23, 2017 at the Miami Beach Police Department. The event will take
place in the Major James Smith Community Room from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00p.m.
The Miami Beach Police Department is partnering with Miami-Dade Animal Services Department to sponsor this
event. Miami-Dade Animal Services is bringing their Hope Express Adoption Unit and will have several dogs available
for adoption. This event is being featured on the MBPD's Facebook page and we are hopeful that we will be able to
help some wonderful dogs find their forever homes.
