13049 RESOLUTION NO. 13049
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the existing Agreement
between the City of Miami Beach and the Town of Surfside,
whereby the City of Miami Beach has agreed to furnish
sewage collection and disposal service to the said Town
of Surfside, which Agreement is due to expire on August 10,
1970, be extended for a period of one (1) year and to ter-
minate on August 10, 1971, on the same terms, conditions
and covenants as set forth in said existing Agreement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Extension Agree-
ment so providing prepared by the City Attorney, be and the
same is hereby authorized and directed to be executed by
the Mayor and the City Clerk-Finance Director of the City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 15th day of July
1970.

SUBJECT: RENEWAL OF EXISTING AGREEMENT FOR SEWAGE DISPOSAL-TOWN OF SURFS IDE
The present agreement between the City of Miami Beach and the Town of Surfs ide
for the disposal of sewage expires August 10, 1970.
The- attached resolution and agreement for the continuance of this service to
the Town of Surfside is for a one...year period expiring August 10, 1971. The
agreement provides for a rate of $~ per thousand gallons of sewage delivered
to the City of Miami Beach, the same rate as in the existing contract. It is
~stimated that based on the same amount of sewage pumped last year, the City
would receive approximately $18,900 per year from Surfside.
The Administration recommends approval of the attached resolution and agreement
for a one-year period expiring an August 10, 1971.
