13053 RESOLUTION NO. 13053
WHEREAS, Ryder Temporary Personnel, Inc. responded
successfully and acceptably to Invitation to Bid *51-70,
conditioned upon a save harmless and indemnity agreement
to provide all necessary temporary personnel upon notice,
or if unable to provide sufficient temporary personnel,
then and in the event City of Miami Beach secures addi-
tional needed temporary help in the open market or other-
wise, Ryder Temporary Personnel agrees to reimburse the
City of Miami Beach for the additional cost, if any, bet-
ween the contracted rate and the actual rate paid; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared setting
forth the terms and conditions under which Ryder Temporary
Personnel, Inc. agreed to accept the liability for such
additional cost, if any; and
WHEREAS, the City Council being familiar with the
terms and conditions of said agreement, and the City Council
having found that it is in the best interests of the City of
Miami Beach and its citizens;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby authorized to execute and deliver the
said Agreement for and in the name of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida.
