WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach is a party to the
Grant Agreement with the Department of Housing and Urban
Development on Project No. WS-Fla-157, and
WHEREAS, said Grant Agreement requires that a con-
tract agreement with a public accountant be entered into by
the City for the performance of an audit on said project
upon completion of construction, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban De-
velopment has submitted a suggested form of such audit con-
tract, the terms of which are familiar to the City Council,
and
WHEREAS, the form of said proposed audit contract
has been approved as to form by the City Attorney
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that such con-
tract be entered into by and between the City and Seymour
D. Singer and Company, a duly certified public accountant
having the qualifications set forth in that certain letter
from the Department of Housing and Urban Development to the
City Manager, dated December 8, 1969 , upon the terms and
conditions set forth in said audit contract; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be and they hereby are authorized and directed to
execute and deliver said contract to the public accountant
and that the Finance Officers of the City are authorized
and directed to pay the sums called for thereby.
