13074 RESOLUTION NO. 13074
WHEREAS, Mrs. C. P. Bentley, a local
citizen of whom the entire community is justly
proud, has donated to the City of Miami Beach
the sum of $1, 000. 00 for the purchase of two
pairs of plate glass doors for the Miami Beach
Garden Center Conservatory located at 2000
Garden Center Drive in the City of Miami Beach;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach and
all of its residents and citizens are immeasurably
appreciative of the gracious generosity, philan-
thropy, and good will to the City and all its
inhabitants ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, that the said City Council, for itself
and for all of the grateful and appreciative
citizens of this community, does hereby formally
accept the said generous donation of the said Mrs .
C. P. Bentley.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified
copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the said
Mrs. C. P. Bentley as an expression of its profound
appreciation of the City of Miami Beach and its
inhabitants for her philanthropy thus manifested.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 5th day of August,
