13075 RESOLUTION NO. 13075
WHEREAS, C. W. CHASE, JR. , known affectionately
to the entire community as "PETE" CHASE, has served, for a
continuous uninterrupted 25 years upon the City of Miami
Beach Public Relations Advisory Committee without compen-
sation, and whose sole reward for singleminded affectionate
loyalty and unremitting devotion to the best interest of the
City , its residents and the community at large , was his own
gratification that he was aiding and assisting in the de-
velopment of the outstanding resort community in the Western
Hemisphere; a community which he saw grow from a mere geo-
graphical microcosm to the world' s resort capital, and
WHEREAS, City Council and the City of Miami Beach,
and each and every individual member thereof, desires to pay
tribute to the said C. W. CHASE, JR. , for his enduring con-
tribution to the welfare of the entire community , and
WHEREAS, the said City Council of the City of
Miami Beach desires to assure the said C. W. CHASE, JR. , of
the affection and highest esteem in which he is held in the
hearts of all,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the said
C. W. CHASE, JR. , be and he is hereby commended for his
selfless devotion to the interest of the City of Miami Beach,
its citizens , residents and inhabitants , and that this
Resolution shall be duly presented to him as a symbol and a
mark of tangible evidence of the high place which he holds
and will continue to hold in the esteem, affection and respect
of the entire community of the City of Miami Beach.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 5th day of August, 1970 .
