A RESOLUTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING
FOR THE PURPOSE OF AMENDING SECTION
16B OF ORDINANCE NO. 289, COMMONLY
KNOWN AS "THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA. "
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, is considering amending Section 16B of
Ordinance No. 289, commonly known as "The Zoning Ordinance
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, " so as to require that
any applicant for a theatre license, whether in a new or ex-
isting structure, must provide off-street parking facilities
in such number as shall be determined by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a public hearing
be and the same is hereby called to be held on the 16th day
of September, 1970, at 2 o' clock P.M. in the Cypress Room,
Convention Hall South, 1700 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach,
Florida, for the purpose of amending said zoning ordinance.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Clerk and Finance
Director be and she is hereby directed to give fifteen ( 15)
days notice of the time, place and object of said hearing by
public notice thereof, published in the Miami Beach Times, a
newspaper of general circulation in said City.
