A RESOLUTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR
THE PURPOSE OF AMENDING SECTION 5 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 289, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE "ZONING ORDINANCE
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA. "
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, is considering amending Ordinance No. 289, commonly
known as the "Zoning Ordinance of Miami Beach, Florida, " so
that that portion of Section 5 thereof, reading as follows :
"9. Parking lots, only upon approval
and permit by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, and
in no case permits to be issued for
more than one year. (455) (518) "
will read as follows :
"9. Parking lots, only upon approval
and permit by the City Clerk-
Finance Director, and in no case
permits to be issued for more than
one year. "
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a public hearing be and
the same is hereby called, to be held on the 21st day of October,
1970, at 2:00 P.M. , in the Cypress Room, Convention Hall South,
1700 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach, Florida, for the purpose of
considering said proposed amendment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Clerk and Finance Director
be and she is hereby directed to give fifteen (15) days ' notice
of the time, place and object of said hearing by public notice
thereof, published in the Miami Beach Daily Sun, a newspaper of
general circulation in said City.
