13088 RESOLUTION NO. 13088 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach is considering amending Ordinance No. 289, commonly known as the "Zoning Ordinance of Miami Beach" , by incorporating therein appropriate provisions regulating the placing, keeping, maintain- ing and storing of boats and water craft in the Single-family Use Districts of the City of Miami Beach in accordance with the following regulations : "1. Boats of not over 20 feet in length may be placed, kept, maintained or stored in or on parcels of land zoned for Single-family Residential Use, subject to the following conditions : (a) The place of storage shall be the rear of the front building line. (b) No more than one boat may be stored on any one premise. (c) Boats and place of storage shall be kept in a clean, neat and presentable condition. (d) No major repairs or overhaul work shall be made or performed on the premises. (e) The boats shall not be used for living or sleeping quarters, and shall be placed on and secured to a transporting trailer. " and such other provisions, regulations or requirements as the City Council may find and determine to be appropriate. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a public hearing be and the same is hereby called to be held on the 21st day of October, 1970, at 2 :30 P.M. , in the Cypress Room, Convention Hall South, 1700 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach, Florida, for the consideration of said proposed amendment. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, that the City Clerk and Finance Director be and she is hereby directed to give fifteen (15) days ' notice of the time, place and object of said hearing by public notice thereof, published in the MIAMI BEACH SUN, a newspaper of general circulation in said City.
