RESOLUTION NO. 13116
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE
SAID CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING
OCTOBER 1 , 1970, AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1971 .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
WHEREAS, the Tax Assessor for Metropolitan Dade County has
notified this body that the amount of the sum total of taxable
nonexempt property in said City of Miami Beach, Dade County,
Florida, for the tax year 1970 is One Billion, One Hundred Eleven
Million, Three Hundred Seventy-four Thousand, Three Hundred
Thirty Six Dollars ($1 , 111 ,371+,336.00) ;
THEREFORE, in conformity with Section 43 of the City Charter
of said City, the City Council has ascertained the amount of the
money needed for each department to carry on the government of the
City and to defray its expenses and liabilities, and makes the
estimate to be raised by taxes on all of the taxable property in the
said City for the year 1970, as the same is set forth in the
"Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 1970-1971 , for the City of Miami
Beach, Florida", as amended, a true and correct copy of which is
attached hereto, and incorporated herein by reference, and the
moneys therein set forth be and the same are hereby accordingly
appropriated.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 29th day of September, 1970.
