RESOLUTION NO. 13118
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has
heretofore designated holidays for the employees of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, as follows , to wit:
New Year's Day
Washington's Birthday
Memorial Day (May 30th)
Fourth of July
Labor Day
Armistice Day
Thanksgiving Day
The Friday immediately
following Thanksgiving Day
Christmas
Employee's Birthday
and
WHEREAS , the City Council has found and determined that the following
revision would be made relative to the Employee's Birthday Holiday, as follows ,
to wit:
Dr. Martin L. King's Birthday or
Employee's Birthday (at the
employee's option)
and
WHEREAS , the City Council has found and determined that the following
additional holiday be designated for the employees of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, to wit:
A floating holiday to be designated
by the City Manager at the begin-
ning of each fiscal year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that that portion of Resolution 12854 reading as follows:
"New Year's Day
Washington's Birthday
Memorial Day (May 30th)
Fourth of July
Labor Day
Armistice Day
Thanksgiving Day
The Friday immediately
following Thanksgiving Day

be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
