13137 RESOLUTION NO. 13137
WHEREAS it is estimated that as of January 1 , 1971 , there will be in
the Surplus Revenue Fund of the City of Miami Beach Parking Revenue System, the
sum of $944,576.00 of which sum $314,827.00 is required by the provisions of
Resolutions Nos. 11410 and 12086 to be expended for the redemption and retire-
ment of Parking Revenue Bonds in advance of maturity;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the said sum of $314,827.00 be expended for the
redemption and retirement of Parking Revenue Bonds, Series 1965 and 1967, in
accordance with the provisions of Resolutions Nos. 11410 and 12086, and to the
extent that said sum permits; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, that the Miami Beach First National Bank of Miami Beach, Florida, the
Depositary designated in said Resolutions, be and it is hereby authorized and
directed in accordance with the provisions of Resolutions Nos. 11410 and 12086,
to call for tenders or redemption and to thereafter retire such number of
Parking Revenue Bonds, Series 1965 and 1967, as said sum of $314,827.00 permits;
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, that a duly certified copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the
Depositary, the Miami Beach First National Bank, Miami Beach, Florida, as
sufficient evidence of the full and complete authority of said Depositary to
so act in the premises.
