13156 RESOLUTION NO. 13156
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, is considering amending Section 16 (b) of Ordinance
No. 289, commonly known as "The Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida" so as to provide that the use of any off-
street parking required under said Ordinance shall be limited
solely for and to the use of the tenants and occupants of the
premises for which said offstreet parking is required, and to
prohibit or to regulate the use of such offstreet spaces by
persons other than such tenants and occupants, and to prohibit
or regulate the leasing or sub-letting to any person of such
required offstreet parking space, or any portion thereof, for
commercial parking, or for parking by the public, for which a
fee is charged.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: That a public
hearing is hereby required to be scheduled for the 20th day of
January , 1971 , beginning at the hour of 2:00 P.M, in the
Cypress Room of the Miami Beach Convention Hall, being the regu-
lar meeting place of the City Council of the City of Miami Beach;
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a proper notice of said
public hearing be published in the Miami Beach Sun, and any such
other notice given to all interested parties as shall be required
by law.
