13188 RESOLUTION NO. 13188
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, is considering amending Section 16-B of
Ordinance No. 289, commonly known as "The Zoning Ordinance
of the City of Miami Beach. Florida, " so as to delete that portion
of paragraph l' of said Section 16-B so that Parking District No. 2, as
defined therein, shall be eliminated; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is considering further
amending said Section 16-B, paragraph 2 thereof, so as to
delete therefrom the following:
"When any building or structure is erected or
structurally altered to the extent of increasing
the floor area by 50% or more",
it being the intent by such amendment, if adopted, that the
deletion of said clause will require off-street parking
whenever an existing building or use is changed or enlarged
in floor area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a public
hearing be and the same is hereby called to be held on the
3rd day of March, 1971, at 2 :30 o'clock P.M. in the Cypress
Room, Convention Hall South, 1700 Washington Avenue, Miami
Beach, Florida, for the purpose of amending said zoning
ordinance.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH. FLORIDA, that the City Clerk and Finance
Director be and she is hereby directed to give fifteen (15)
days notice of the time, place and object of said hearing by
public notice thereof, published in the Miami Beach Sun
a newspaper of general circulation in said City.
