WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has
heretofore designated holidays for the employees of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, as follows , to wit:
New Year's Day
Washington's Birthday
Memorial Day (May 30th)
Fourth of Tuly
Labor Day
Armistice Day
Thanksgiving Day
The Friday immediately
following Thanksgiving Day
Christmas
Dr. Martin L. King's Birthday
or Employee's Birthday (at
the employee's option)
Floating holiday (to be designated
by the City Manater at the
beginning of each fiscal year)
and
WHEREAS , the Federal Government has passed the "Monday Holiday Law" to
be effective Tanuary 1, 1971.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that that portion of Resolution 13118 reading as follows:
