WHEREAS, the CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, deems it to be in the best interests of the said City
and the citizens and residents thereof, that a proposed Contract
be entered into by and between said City and CARRIER AIR CONDITION-
ING COMPANY, for the maintenance and servicing of the air condition-
ing in Miami Beach Auditorium and Convention Hall South, said
Contract being dated February 17, 1971, and being for a term of
five (5) years from the date thereof, at an annual payment of
Twelve Thousand ($12, 000.00) Dollars, payable One Thousand ($1, 000. )
Dollars per month;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk and Finance Director be and they are hereby authorized to
execute said Contract for, and in the name of, the CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, and that the appropriate Finance Officers of the
City make provision for the payment of the sums payable therein,
as the same shall become due.
