13229 RESOLUTION NO. 13229
WHEREAS, the Agreement to provide meals to prisoners of
of the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH Jail was awarded to DADE RESTAURANT
ASSOCIATES, INC . , for the period commencing November 1, 1969 and
terminating on October 31, 1972, and
WHEREAS, the Contractor, CHARLES MOUYOS, of DADE RESTAURANT
ASSOCIATES, INC. , has sold the Lincoln Lane Restaurant to LINCOLN
RESTAURANT, INC. , a Florida corporation, effective April 5, 1971,
and has requested permission to assign all his rights in the
aforesaid Agreement to MAX PULWER, President of LINCOLN RESTAURANT,
INC . , and
WHEREAS, MAX PULWER, President of LINCOLN RESTAURANT, INC. ,
has agreed to assume and be bound by the existing Agreement between
the CITY and DADE RESTAURANT ASSOCIATES, INC. , to provide meals for
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH Jail, and
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Administration that
the existing Agreement be assigned to LINCOLN RESTAURANT, INC. , ef-
fective April 5, 1971,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City Clerk-
Finance Director be and they hereby are authorized and directed to
assign said Agreement to LINCOLN RESTAURANT, INC. , in the name of
and on behalf of said CITY.
