13230 RESOLUTION NO. 13230
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING ESTABLISHMENT OF
A BULKHEAD FOR FLAGLER MEMORIAL ISLAND, PURSUANT
TO HEARING HELD.
WHEREAS, immediate measures are necessary to preserve the
Flagler Monument; and
WHEREAS, the Administration has recommended that a bulkhead line
be established in the precise location of the old one so as only to surround
property owned by City by deed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the City Commission finds there is a need for protecting
the Flagler Memorial Monument and hereby approves establishment of the
Bulkhead Line, and the subsequent passage of Ordinance No. 1869.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 17th day of March, 1971.
