13255 RESOLUTION NO. 13255
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, POSTPONING
CONSIDERATION OF THE BULKHEADING AND FILLING
OF PELICAN ISLAND.
WHEREAS, the City is presently undergoing financial
difficulties; and
WHEREAS, future recreational needs of the City cannot
presently be ascertained; and
WHEREAS, it would be against the best interest of the
City to entertain further consideration of filling or bulkheading
Pellican Island;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH:
That consideration of the proposed bulkheading and
filling of Pelican Island be postponed.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 21st day of April, 1971.
