13264 RESOLUTION NO. 13264
WHEREAS, Dade County, a political subdivision of the
State of Florida, the owner thereof has offered to sell to
the City of Miami Beach for the sum of SIX HUNDRED FIFTY
THOUSAND DOLLARS ($650, 000.00) those certain parcels of
land lying and being in the City of Miami Beach, the County
of Dade, State of Florida, to-wit:
Lots 32 through 39, Block 111,
Ocean Beach Addition No. 3,
recorded in Plat Book 2, Page 81,
of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, deems it to be to the best interest of said City to
acquire said land at said price on the terms and conditions
set forth in said offer; and
WHEREAS, an agreement between the parties has been
prepared with the terms of which said agreement the City
Council is familiar :
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor
and the City Clerk and Finance Director be and they are
hereby authorized and directed to execute the said agreement
in the name of and on behalf of said City, and the disbursing
officers of the City are hereby authorized and directed to dis-
burse the monies required by the terms of said agreement from
funds of the City available for such purpose. ,
PASSED and ADOPTED this 5th day of MaY, 1971 .
