13266 RESOLUTION NO. 13266
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, is authorized by law to act for the
said City and to expend its funds for utility improve-
ments; and
WHEREAS, said City Council has before it Plans
for subaqueous water line construction in Biscayne Bay,
to wit:
Construction of a 36-inch subaqueous water
line adjacent to a proposed bascule bridge,
North Bay (79th Street) Causeway, State
Road No. 828, Bridge Structure No. 85,
County of Dade; and
WHEREAS, by Federal Law, the Corps of Engineers,
Department of the Army, must approve all construction
Plans within the bounds of navigable waters of these
United States; and
WHEREAS, said City desires the submission of Plans
to the Corps of Engineers; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City
Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, does hereby
approve and accept said Plans and that the City Engineer
be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to submit
said Plans for approval by the District Engineer, Corps
of Engineers, Department of the Army.
